Fall

Fall The change of season, Fall has arrived, the clocks have gone back an hour. As a 'messager de rue' our clients are sleeping later, therefore we have scheduled our patrols half an hour later to meet the demand of the street. There is also the fact days are shorter, less sunlight. The lack of sun presents the problem of higher levels of depression. Higher levels of depression can lead to suicide. This year has already been personally hard for myself due to friends and acquintances leaving this terrestial plane. I write this in thinking of them and hoping they are in a better place. I can only hope all will take the time to help yourselves and each other. A little bit of charity, and not neccessary financial, can go very far in giving hope.
